Indeed, a sparsely planted aquarium with many fish generates more nitrates and phosphates than it can consume.

It is useless or even risky to add it in the form of fertilizer (massive risk of promoting algae).

The trace elements and trace elements contained in BIOVERT PLUS allow plants to use the nitrates and phosphates already present in the environment and thus contribute to its balance.

BIOVERT PLUS contains plant hormones selected for their ability to promote plant growth, strengthen their vitality and improve leaf development.

BIOVERT PLUS provides potassium, calcium, magnesium, trace elements and bioavailable iron for plants. It does not contain nitrate or phosphate.

For a complete fertilization action, combine BIOVERT PLUS with BIOVERT ULTIMATE.

Prodibio supply BioVert Plus and BioVert Ultimate as a bottle, not as ampoules — their published formats are 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml. This listing previously said 30 vials, which is not a format Prodibio make for either product. Ask us to confirm the bottle size before ordering.

Compatibility

BioVert Plus is the fertiliser for the lightly to moderately planted freshwater tank that carries a lot of fish. That combination is the whole design brief: a tank like that already generates more nitrate and phosphate than its plants can use, so adding more of either is what starts an algae problem.

• Freshwater planted aquariums only.
• Contains no nitrate and no phosphate. It supplies potassium, calcium, magnesium, trace elements and bioavailable iron, and lets the plants consume the nitrate and phosphate already in the water.
• Also contains phyto-hormones Prodibio select for promoting growth, vitality and leaf development.
• Its counterpart is BioVert Ultimate, which does carry nitrate and phosphate and is for the opposite tank — heavily planted, few fish. Prodibio’s instruction is to alternate the two where both apply.
• Compatible with any freshwater dosing scheme, and with CO2 injection or a liquid carbon source — it supplies nutrients, not carbon.
• The symptoms it is meant for: poor growth, and yellowing, splitting or transparent leaves.

Dosage & Directions

Prodibio’s rate works out at 2.5 ml per 100 litres. Their own published examples: 0–100 litres, 0–2.5 ml; 100–200 litres, 2.5–5 ml; 700–800 litres, 17.5–20 ml.

• Frequency: once a week as a general rule, and after a water change. Prodibio allow going to once every three days if the plants need it.
• Pour it directly into the aquarium at the filter outlet, so it disperses rather than settling in one place.
• Keep it out of reach of children.
• If you also dose BioVert Ultimate, alternate: one product one week, the other the next.

Increase the frequency before you increase the dose. Weekly is the baseline and every three days is Prodibio’s ceiling, not a starting point.

Pack Size

Prodibio publish three sizes for both BioVert Plus and BioVert Ultimate, and all three are bottles rather than ampoules:

• 100 ml — Prodibio rate it for up to 4,000 litres of aquarium water treated over the life of the bottle.
• 250 ml — up to 10,000 litres treated.
• 500 ml — up to 20,000 litres treated.

Those totals are cumulative across the whole bottle, not a tank size: at 2.5 ml per 100 litres, a 100 ml bottle is forty doses for a 100-litre tank.

This listing previously said 30 vials. Prodibio have never published an ampoule format for BioVert Plus or BioVert Ultimate — the ampoule range was the older plain BioVert, a different product. Ask us to confirm the bottle size on this listing before ordering.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
