IndieFur has been selling aquarium and pet-keeping supplies online in India since 2017. We stock equipment across freshwater, planted, reef, and pond setups — filters, heaters, lighting, CO₂ systems, fertilizers, and water-testing supplies — alongside food and accessories for cats and reptiles, sourced from established international and Indian brands.

Who’s Behind It

IndieFur is founded and run by Peeyoosh Kumar, who brings 28 years of hands-on aquarium and fishkeeping experience to the products we choose to stock and the guides published on this site.

Why We Write Guides

Every buying guide and how-to on this site is written from real product specifications and hands-on aquarium-keeping experience, not repackaged manufacturer copy. Where a guide compares our own products against a competitor’s, we say so directly — including the cases where a product we don’t stock is honestly the better fit for a given tank.
