What it is. Fluval’s UVC In-Line Clarifier, item A203, confirmed against Fluval’s own India product listing (UPC 015561102032), is the 3-watt version of Fluval’s in-line UV clarifier line, sized to run in-line with the 107/207/307/407 canister filter, as already noted on this product’s own compatibility tag.

Setup & Use

How it works. Water passes through the unit’s housing past a CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Light) bulb, which uses UVC light to destroy the DNA of free-floating algae and bacteria that cause green or cloudy water: a chemical-free process that doesn’t disturb the beneficial bacteria colonizing the filter’s own media, since that colony lives on solid surfaces rather than floating through the water column.

Bulb life. Fluval’s CCFL bulb runs cooler than a traditional UVC bulb and is rated for roughly 30,000 hours: about three times the working life of a conventional UV lamp, which typically needs replacing every 6 to 9 months. That’s what lets this unit go years between bulb changes instead of months.

Where it sits in the filtration setup. A UV clarifier treats water quality by killing free-floating organisms; it doesn’t mechanically or biologically filter, so it runs alongside the canister filter’s existing media stages rather than replacing any of them.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
