Aquavascular Macro is a precise formulation with balanced NPK. Periodic use of Macro ensures proper growth of plants balanced water parameters such as nitrates , phosphates and general hardness. Being a concentrate fertilizer, its perfect for heavily planted and bigger tank.

Deficiency results in stunted growth, decreased chlorophyll content , fading or yellowing of leaves, decayed parts of the leaf blades etc.

Compatibility

Water type. Freshwater planted aquariums.

What it supplies. Balanced NPK — nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Aquavascular describe it as a concentrate, and say it suits heavily planted and larger tanks specifically because of that concentration.

What it does not supply. Trace elements. Macro is the other half of the pair: run it with Aquavascular Micro, which carries copper, manganese, iron, molybdenum, zinc and boron.

Stocking level matters. A well-stocked tank already gets nitrogen and phosphorus from food and fish waste. Macro earns its place in a heavily planted tank with light stocking — the situation where the plants outrun what the fish provide. In a lightly planted, heavily stocked tank, adding more nitrate and phosphate is how you grow algae instead.

The overdose warning is the manufacturer’s own. Aquavascular print it on the product itself: leaves become dark-brown upon overdose. That is your stop signal. Dark-brown leaves after a fertiliser increase mean back off, not dose more.

What deficiency looks like. Stunted growth, reduced chlorophyll, fading or yellowing leaves, and decayed patches on the leaf blades.

Aquavascular’s own target ranges. Their planted-tank guide gives pH 6.5–7.5, general hardness 4–8 dGH, carbonate hardness 3–8 dKH with KH kept lower than GH, phosphate below 0.5 ppm and nitrate below 10 ppm. Those are the numbers this range is formulated around.

Test before you correct. Aquavascular sell freshwater nitrate and phosphate kits for exactly this — dose Macro against a reading, not against a hunch.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
