Aquavascular print the rate on the back of the bottle:

• 5 drops for every 25 litres of tank volume.
• That is 10 drops on a 50-litre tank, 20 drops on a 100-litre tank, and 40 drops on a 200-litre tank.
• Add it to the water column with the filter running so it disperses.

PGR-1 is aimed at the establishment phase — Aquavascular describe it as acting against plant dormancy and stunted growth, and helping plants through the early growth stages. That is exactly the window after a replant or a new scape, when stems sit and sulk instead of rooting.

About the interval. Aquavascular print the rate on the bottle and nothing about how often to repeat it, and their website does not give one either. The fortnightly interval this listing has always carried is the cautious reading for a growth regulator, and it is what we would suggest — but we are telling you where the figure comes from rather than dressing it up as the manufacturer’s. Compatibility

Livestock. Shrimp and fish safe at the stated rate.

Water type. Freshwater planted aquariums.

Alongside fertiliser. A growth regulator is not a fertiliser and does not replace one. It changes how the plant grows; the plant still has to be fed. Run it on top of your normal Macro and Micro — or Complete Nutrition — not instead of them. A regulator dosed into a tank that is short of nutrients just pushes a plant to do something it has not got the materials for.

The two PGRs are different jobs. PGR-1 works on dormancy and stunted growth and on the early growth stages; PGR-2 works on branching and side-shoot development to make plants bushy. Aquavascular sell them as a combo pack because most scapes want the establishment phase and then the shaping phase, in that order.

Dropper bottle. Dosing is by drop count, not by syringe, so the 25 ml bottle is a long way from being the limiting factor on a normal tank.

This is the 25 ml dropper bottle, which is the only size Aquavascular publish for PGR-1.

• At 5 drops per 25 litres, a 25 ml dropper bottle carries several hundred drops — enough for a long run of doses on a typical tank.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
