Feeding Guide

These are treats and toppers, not a meal. Catit’s own framing: quick treats, training rewards, and food toppers for picky eaters, sitting alongside a complete daily diet rather than replacing one. They are single-protein and limited-ingredient, with no artificial additives or preservatives, which is what makes them useful for a cat with food sensitivities.

Catit publish no daily quantity for these treats. There is no feeding table on the product page and we are not going to invent one. What they do publish is the calorie content of the pouch, below, which is the number your vet will want if you are counting a cat’s intake.

Three ways to use them. Straight from the pouch as a treat; as a training reward, where the small cube size is the whole advantage; or crumbled over a meal to get a fussy cat started. Fresh water alongside, always — freeze-dried food is dry food.

Catit’s published analysis for Freeze-Dried Cat Treats, Ocean Whitefish:

‘Ocean whitefish’ here means amberjack. Catit’s ingredient declaration is a single fish, named. That matters if you are working through an elimination diet and need to know exactly which protein your cat is being given.

Reseal the pouch and keep it dry. Freeze-dried meat is stable because the water has been taken out of it; the thing that ends that is humidity. In an Indian kitchen in monsoon, an open pouch left unsealed will soften.

Pack Size

0.84 oz / 24 g pouch, Catit item #42177. A single pouch carries 87 kcal in total. Note the smaller pouch: the whitefish variety is 24 g where the rest of the range is 28.4 g.

Catit make the same treat in five varieties, all single- or limited-ingredient: chicken #42175, tuna #42176, this ocean whitefish #42177, duck and chicken liver #42178, and beef, pork and lamb liver #42179.

Not to be confused with Catit Freeze-Dried RAW. That is a separate Catit line — a complete and balanced diet in 100 g and 226 g bags — and it is not what this pouch is. This is a pure-meat treat.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
