How to use:
The first step is to prepare the base food mix, the ingredients will depend on the type of the fish (whether it is herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore). For example, African cichlids will need more vegetables than discus or scare fish. As an example for discus Prepare cleaned 850g Beefheart cubes add 50g of blanched spinach and mince in a meat grinder. Take 900-950g of the base mix and add the content of one Nutriboost package (90g) to it gradually while continuously mixing it. After completely mixing the Nutriboost powder into the mix divide it into sealable plastic food bags and flatten them out to a maximum thickness of 3 mm.
And store it in the freezer. It can last for 3 months in the freezer.
To feed, break a portion for the whole day feed and let it thaw in the fridge and feed after it has thawed feed the fish from it as much as they can eat in 3-5 minutes. The thawed feed can stay in the fridge for two days only.

Feeding Guide

This is not a food. It is a supplement powder you mix into food you make yourself, so the ‘feeding guide’ here is really two things: how much powder goes into the mix, and how you then feed the mix.

The mixing rate: one 90 g package of Nutriboost into 900–950 g of prepared base food. Add it gradually, mixing continuously, until it is completely through the mix. That is roughly a 1:10 ratio, and one package makes a little over a kilogram of finished food.

Building the base mix. DiscusX leave this to you, because it depends on what you keep — African cichlids need far more vegetable matter than discus or scalare do. The worked example they give, for discus: 850 g of cleaned beef heart cubes plus 50 g of blanched spinach, minced together in a meat grinder. Take 900–950 g of that and mix in the Nutriboost.

Storing it. Divide the finished mix into sealable food bags and flatten each one to a maximum thickness of 3 mm — that is not a detail, it is what lets you snap off a day’s portion from frozen without thawing the whole bag. Freeze. It keeps for three months in the freezer.

Feeding it. Break off one day’s worth, thaw it in the fridge, and feed once thawed — as much as the fish clear in three to five minutes. Thawed food keeps in the fridge for two days only, so break off what you will actually use. Never refreeze it.

Why the binder matters at feeding time. Nutriboost includes natural binders, so the food holds together in the water instead of leaching its nutrients out and clouding the tank. That is what makes a home-made mix workable as a daily staple rather than a weekly treat.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.
