Fluval FX UVC In line Clarifier 6 Watt

This Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier eliminates suspended algae and bacteria for clear water, connecting easily to most canister filter setups.

Compatibility

Fits Fluval FX2, FX4 and FX6 and the 107/207/307/407 canisters, and third-party canisters too — 1″ to 5/8″ (25 to 16 mm) hose adapters are included.

Rated for freshwater and marine aquariums up to 400 US gallons / 1500 litres. It works in either flow direction, so an existing plumbing run does not have to be reversed to suit it.

It mounts directly on the FX output valve or horizontally or vertically on the cabinet wall with the bracket supplied.

Dosage & Directions

Plumb it in-line on the filter's return and leave it running. It works by exposing the water to 253 nm UVC as it passes, which destroys the DNA of suspended algae — that is what clears green water.

It is not a chemical and it does not touch the established bacteria on your filter media, because those live on surfaces rather than drifting through the lamp.

It clears green and cloudy water caused by suspended algae or bacteria. If the cloudiness is fine particulate instead, that is a job for a polishing pad, not a UV lamp.

The CCFL bulb runs for 20,000 hours — over two years of continuous use — and because it runs cool it does not scale the quartz sleeve, so there is no sleeve to clean. Replacement bulb A19990, sold separately. The indicator window tells you at a glance whether the lamp is lit.

Supplied with its 100–240 V / 24 V power supply, a 90° rubber elbow adapter, 1″ to 5/8″ (25 to 16 mm) hose adapters, 4–27 mm metal hose clamps, and the universal cabinet-wall mounting bracket and screws.

IP44 rated — splash-proof, not submersible. Made in Italy.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
