Teraa Carna is formulated for carnivore cichlids, whose diet centers on animal protein from small fish, insects, and invertebrates.

Carnivore Cichlids primary diet is made up of animal protein be it small fishes, insects, invertebrate or in some cases rodents too. Animal protein is a major part of their diet, whereas plant protein is a very minor part.
When selecting their diet this should be kept in mind. A diet made of animal protein would ensure better digestion, agility and coloration.

Teraa Cichlid Carna is a food that has been specially formulated by experts for carnivorous cichlid and large fish. High quality natural protein and vitamins improve growth rate and increases color. Teraa's instruction: feed as much as the fish can eat within ten minutes, once or twice a day.

This is the Medium grade: a 3 mm pellet, which Teraa size for carnivorous cichlids and large fish of roughly 7 to 13 cm. Below that size the pellet is a mouthful the fish has to break up; well above it, the fish will take it happily but you will be feeding a lot of pellets to fill it.

It is a high animal-protein food — 51% crude protein, from insect protein with krill and shrimp meal — so it is a staple for carnivores, not for herbivorous cichlids like mbuna, which do badly on protein at this level. Teraa make a Spirulina Cichlid food for those.

Feed it in small amounts at a time rather than one large drop. A cichlid will keep eating past the point of usefulness, and uneaten 3 mm pellets sitting on the sand are the usual source of a nitrate problem in a cichlid tank.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
