Seachem Glass U Tube 10 mm wide

This Seachem glass U tube connects silicone airline or CO2 tubing cleanly, ideal for rimless aquariums and standard aquarium rims.

The 10 mm glass U Tube allows you to easily run airline (preferably silicone) for CO₂ or for general air supply over the rim of the aquarium without bending or creasing. Made of strong clear glass, which minimizes visibility of tubing.

Setup & Use

Rinse the glass with warm water first.

Wet the inside of the tubing to fit it, and use nothing else. Seachem are explicit: water, not lubricant. Other lubricants make the tubing slide off the glass too easily, which is a worse failure than a tight fit.

Never pull tubing off the glass. To remove it, cut carefully along the length of the attachment and release the glassware. Pulling is how these break, and it usually breaks in your hand.

Fit a check valve inline, outside the aquarium. Seachem call for one on the CO₂ or air line and it is not included. On a CO₂ system it is the part that stops tank water siphoning back into a regulator overnight.

Then hang the U tube over the rim where you want the line to cross. That is the whole installation.

Cleaning: Seachem's method for algae on glassware is a soak overnight in warm water with a very small amount of bleach, then a few hours in fresh water with Prime or another dechlorinator. If that does not shift it, soak overnight in water with vinegar.

It is glass. Handle it with care when fitting or removing hoses, and put broken pieces in an appropriate container rather than the household bin.

What's in the Box

One 10 mm glass U tube. Seachem item #3150.

No tubing and no check valve. Seachem's own instructions call for a check valve fitted inline outside the tank and state plainly that it is not included. Add both to your basket if you do not already have them.

Seachem publish no parts or accessory list for this pack, and their own product photography shows the container alone. We would rather tell you that than invent a contents list. If you need to know whether a particular pack ships with a scoop before you order, ask us and we will open one and look.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
