The Digger is easy to disassemble and clean. We recommend hand-washing each part with natural soap, free of chemicals or abrasive solutions and rinsing thoroughly.

Catit’s published specification for the Senses Digger:

Two cup depths, and that is the difficulty setting. The three short narrow cups are the easy ones; the two long wide cups make the cat reach further and work for longer. Start a new cat on the short cups and move food into the long ones as they get the idea.

The base is wide and sloped for a reason. Catit angle the surface so kibble the cat paws out runs back toward the cups rather than across the floor, and make the base wide enough that an enthusiastic cat cannot tip it. The cup edges are rounded so a paw going in fast does not catch.

Setup & Use

It is a slow feeder, so feed the day’s ration through it. Catit’s design intent is that the cat paws food out of the cups rather than eating from a bowl: the point is to slow the meal down, not to add an extra one. Put the normal portion in the cups instead of in the dish.

Start it easy. A cat that fails at a puzzle feeder walks away and does not come back. Load only the three short cups at first, and leave the long ones empty until the cat is emptying the short ones reliably.

It comes apart to clean, and it needs to. Catit list easy disassembly as a feature. Dry food leaves fat in the bottom of the cups; wash it in warm water at least weekly and dry it fully before refilling.

No food and no batteries. The Digger is a purely mechanical feeder, and Catit design it to combine with the Senses Circuits and other Senses pieces into a larger playground if you have them.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
