The Sicce Internal Filter Shark Pro 500 filter comes with a modular and flexible design. The filter can be used horizontally and vertically. The unique Sicce magnetic quick uncoupling system allows an easier maintenance operation. The filters are provided with an integrated aeration system and spray bar.

Compatibility

A submersible internal filter for freshwater and marine aquariums. This is the 500 l/h model at 4 W; Sicce make the range as Shark PRO 500 (4 W), 700 (7 W) and 900 (10 W).

It mounts on a magnetic glass holder and runs horizontally or vertically, so it fits tanks where a fixed-orientation filter would not.

It takes up to two extra modular cartridges on top of what it ships with, and Sicce make those in Bioker, Zerophos, BioTrix and activated carbon. That is what makes it worth choosing over a plain sponge filter — the chemical stage is a cartridge swap rather than a rebuild.

An aeration system and spray bar are built in, so it can do the job of an air pump as well.

Safety & Precautions

Unplug it at the mains before putting your hands in the tank or taking the unit apart. Water and a live mains connection are the one combination in this hobby that can actually kill you.

Leave a drip loop in the cable — a downward bend below the socket — so water running down the flex drips off the bottom of the loop instead of into the socket.

Never run it dry. The water it moves is what cools and lubricates it, and a pump left running in air destroys its own impeller in minutes.

Keep it fully submerged. Watch the water level on a tank that evaporates — an internal filter is the first thing to break surface.

The magnetic quick-uncoupling system lets the head come off the body for cleaning. Unplug it first anyway; the convenience is the point, not a reason to service it live.

Rinse the sponges in old tank water, never under the tap. Tap water kills the bacteria that do the biological half of the work.

Extra modular cartridges, replacement sponges, rotors and magnet supports are sold separately.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.

Warranty & Support

Sicce guarantee this product against defects of materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase, extended to 5 years if you register it with Sicce and upload the purchase receipt. The pump impeller carries 6 months rather than the full term.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.
