Fluval Motor Head for 107 Canister Filter

Compatibility

Compatibility

What it is. The motor head is the complete pump-and-housing unit that clips onto the top of the 107 canister — the part that actually drives water through the filter, as distinct from the canister body, media baskets or hosing underneath it.

Fits. Fluval 107 Performance Canister Filter (A440) only — 07-series motor heads are model-specific, unlike some of the hose and connector parts that carry across the range. Fluval’s own item number for this part is A20101.

Specifications

A new motor head is a full replacement for the pump itself, not the lighter Motor Head Maintenance Kit, which only swaps the impeller, impeller cover and O-ring gasket inside an otherwise working head. Reach for this part when the motor housing, wiring or magnet drive has failed rather than just the wearing impeller.
