Compatibility

What it is. A pre-cut chemical filter pad sized for the Fluval 106/206 (06 Series) and 107/207 (07 Series) canister filters’ media basket — a custom fit for these two filter lines, not a universal pad.

Why one pad fits both lines. Fluval’s own parts diagrams for the 06 Series and 07 Series list an identical Media Basket part number, A20046, for the 106, 206, 107 AND 207 — the two filter generations share the same basket-side hardware (basket, intake strainer, rim connector, suction cups) even though the motor head above it changed between generations. That shared basket is why a single chemical-pad SKU serves all four models.

Setup & Use

Where it goes. Loaded into the media basket alongside the filter’s mechanical and biological stages, following the same rinse-and-load order as the rest of the media stack.

Replace, don’t rinse. Fluval’s own maintenance schedule for both filter lines lists Nitrite Remover (Pad) under Replace, not Check & Clean — unlike Bio-Foam or BIOMAX, it’s spent once its capacity is used up rather than something to rinse and reload. Replace monthly, or sooner if a nitrite test says the water needs it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
