Compatibility

What it is. The Bio-Screen for the Fluval C4 Power Filter — one of the parts listed in Fluval’s own C-series “What’s Included” diagram, seated inside the Trickle Chamber above the BIOMAX. It spreads incoming water evenly across the BIOMAX bed rather than letting it channel through one spot, which is what lets the biological stage behind it work at full capacity.

Setup & Use

Fitting it. Per Fluval’s own quick-start instructions: rinse the Bio-Screen with tap water and place it into the Trickle Chamber cover with the side carrying the large holes facing upward — fitting it the wrong way round defeats its even-distribution job.

Upkeep. Fluval’s maintenance chart doesn’t give the Bio-Screen its own separate replacement interval the way it does for the Poly/Foam pad and BIOMAX — check it alongside the rest of the Trickle Chamber media at your monthly clean, and replace it once it’s visibly clogged or torn rather than on a fixed schedule.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
