Fluval Impeller Cover for 307/407 Filters: A20148

Genuine Fluval Impeller Cover (Part # A20148) designed for the Fluval 307 and 407 Performance Canister Filters. This original replacement part protects the impeller area, ensuring proper water flow and maintaining efficient filter performance by keeping the rotor chamber sealed and running smoothly. Ideal for servicing worn or damaged covers to extend the life of your canister filter.

• Replacement Impeller Cover is suitable for:
  Fluval 307/407 Canister Filter (A446, A449).

Setup & Use

Fitting it. Per Fluval’s own 07 Series manual: pull the tab over and gently pry the old cover off, then to refit — slide the new cover’s tab into the tab receptacle on the rim of the impeller chamber, push down on the opposite side while the impeller seats itself in the cover’s centre, and keep pressing until the retaining tab clicks and locks into position. Fluval specifically notes the cover must go on the right way up, or it won’t seal properly.

Why it matters. The impeller cover keeps the impeller seated correctly in its well and protects it from debris while still letting water reach it — a cracked or loose-fitting cover is a common cause of a noisy or underperforming 307/407, even when the impeller itself is fine.
