By providing Calcium and Magnesium Aquavascular GH Bosster (CAL MAG) restores and maintains general hardness (GH). Improves natural water chemistry for reverse osmosis water conversion for fresh water fish, shrimps and plants. Establishes a well – balanced electrolyte system.

Mainatin 6-7 dGH or 40-45 ppm . Calcium for stem plants is recommended.

Compatibility

Freshwater. Aquavascular list it for freshwater fish, shrimp and plants.

What it is really for: RO water. Reverse osmosis water has had everything stripped out of it, calcium and magnesium included, and a tank filled with it has no general hardness at all. This puts both minerals back and gives you a balanced electrolyte system rather than pure water — which matters most for shrimp, who need calcium to moult, and for stem plants, which Aquavascular single out as the ones that want the calcium.

Target: Aquavascular’s figure is 6–7 dGH.

What it does not do. GH and KH are different measurements. This raises general hardness — the calcium and magnesium — and is not a buffer; KH, the carbonate hardness that holds pH steady, is a separate product. Test rather than assume: Aquavascular make a GH kit and a KH kit, and their Ultimate kit covers both.

How long it lasts depends entirely on the dose, and Aquavascular do not publish one — see the note below. Dose to a GH reading rather than to a schedule: the amount of calcium and magnesium your water needs depends on what the water started with, and RO water and tap water are nowhere near each other.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
