Algae are produced when an aquarium is not well balanced. Causes of an unbalanced aquarium are the excessive feeding of fish, too many fish in an aquarium, excessive lighting or excessive fertilization. You also take them home when you purchase fish or plants! AlgExit is a safe and effective product for combating almost all types of algae in a freshwater aquarium. Algae, such as beard algae, brush algae and filamentous algae, are effectively wiped out. AlgExit is easy and economical to use and harmless to fish, shrimps, molluscs and plants. The algae growth is first brought to a standstill and then it disappears. Any algae spores that are still present in the water are removed.

Compatibility

Freshwater aquariums. Easy-Life publish it as harmless to fish, shrimp, molluscs and plants, which is what separates it from a general algaecide.

It targets beard algae, brush algae and filamentous algae — the tough attached ones. It is not the product for green water or for cyanobacteria; Blue Exit and Bio-Exit Blue handle blue-green algae, and Bio-Exit Silicate handles brown diatoms.

Take activated carbon and any other adsorbing medium out of the filter before you start. Carbon strips the treatment out of the water as fast as you add it, which is the usual reason a course appears not to work.

Dosage & Directions

10 ml per 100 litres, once a week, for four weeks.

Extend the course if algae are still present or spores are still sprouting. Easy-Life are clear that this is not an instant kill: growth stops first, the algae then disappear, and the remaining spores are cleared afterwards. Judging it after a week is judging it too early.

Deal with the cause alongside the treatment — light duration, nutrient balance and flow — or the algae come back when the course ends.

Pack Size

Easy-Life make AlgExit in 250 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml.

A full four-week course at the published rate uses 40 ml per 100 litres of aquarium. So 250 ml is roughly six courses for a 100-litre tank, or one and a half for a 400-litre one.

Keep the bottle closed, cool and away from light, and out of reach of children.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
