Easy Life OsmoVital is a highly soluble hardening and mineral salt designed for freshwater aquariums that need precise control of GH and KH. It is ideal for remineralising reverse osmosis, demineralised, filtered rainwater, or very soft tap water, where essential minerals are often missing. By increasing carbonate hardness and general hardness in a controlled manner, OsmoVital helps stabilize the pH and provides a safer, more predictable environment for fish, shrimp, and plants.

The formula is completely free from nitrate and phosphate, so it will not fuel algae growth or interfere with your fertiliser regime. At the same time, it adds vital trace elements such as potassium, iron, manganese, boron, iodine, and fluoride, supporting strong plant growth and healthy livestock. Thanks to its fine powder form and included measuring spoon, OsmoVital is easy to dose both at tank start-up and with every water change, making it a reliable tool for any planted tank enthusiast.

Compatibility

Freshwater aquariums with fish and plants. It is made for water that has had its minerals taken out or never had them: RO or osmosis water, demineralised water, filtered rainwater, or naturally very soft tap water.

It raises both KH and GH and stabilises pH, and it contains no nitrate and no phosphate, so it will not feed algae the way a mineral salt with either in it would.

Beyond the hardness it adds potassium, iron, manganese, boron, iodide and fluoride. Do not use it on water that is already hard — test GH and KH first and dose to a target, not by habit.

Pack Size

1,000 g tub, supplied with a 5 g measuring spoon.

Easy-Life's dose is measured in 5 g spoons per 100 litres. One spoon raises GH by 1.0 °d and KH by 0.7 °d in 100 litres; five spoons take a batch of RO water to GH 5.0 °d and KH 3.3 °d.

That makes this tub 200 spoons — enough to take 4,000 litres of RO water to GH 5 °d, or 20,000 litres to GH 1 °d. For anyone mixing RO for weekly water changes it is a long-lasting size.

Keep it dry and sealed. A hardening salt that has taken up moisture cakes, and a caked salt no longer measures by the spoon.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
