The Exo Terra Glass Terrarium is the ideal reptile or amphibian housing designed by European herpetologists. The front opening doors allow easy access for maintenance and feeding. A specially designed lock will prevent escape and the doors can be opened separately. The full screen top ventilation allows UVB and infrared penetration, and is completely removable for easy access while decorating or cleaning. In the back of the screen cover are 5 closable wire or tube inlets on both sides to install Heat Wave Rocks, Waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. The bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater to heat a part of the extended ground surface. The extra high fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrates (burrowing reptiles), aquatic parts (paludarium) or to mount an Exo Terra reptile den. The natural background is in the same colour like all other Exo Terra decoration items (Water Dishes, Waterfalls, Heat Wave Rocks, etc.) and provides an extra climbing dimension.

Its color and texture is the same like all Exo Terra natural terrarium decoration to create a perfectly harmonized environment, humid or dry.

Setup & Use

This is Exo Terra’s Natural Terrarium Large Wide, item number in the SKU above, measuring 90 x 45 x 45 cm (36 x 18 x 18″). Our listing title uses the dimensions rather than Exo Terra’s size name, so that is the model to match when you are checking accessories or spares against their catalogue.

• The screen top lifts out completely. Take it off while you are decorating or cleaning and twist-lock it back on afterwards — that lock is what stops an escape through the roof, so check it every time.
• Behind the screen cover are five closable wire and tube inlets on each side. Run heater cables, misting lines and probe leads through those rather than trapping them under the cover, and close the ones you are not using.
• The bottom plate is raised. That gap is where a substrate heater or heat mat goes, under the glass rather than inside the terrarium, so it warms part of the floor and leaves a cool end for the animal to move to.
• The bottom is waterproof. It will take a deep substrate layer for a burrowing species, or standing water if you are building a paludarium.
• The front window ventilation is the patented dual system: it draws air upward across the inside of the glass, which is what keeps the front doors clear of condensation in a humid setup.
• The two front doors open separately and lock separately. Open one at a time when you feed, and the animal has half the opening to work with instead of the whole front.
• The rock background is included and is meant to be cut to fit. It has a cut-out for wires and tubing, so decide where your cables enter before you trim it.

Exo Terra’s glass terrariums ship assembled — there is no build step. Set it on a level, load-bearing surface before you fill it: with substrate, water and decor in place, these are considerably heavier than they arrive, and glass is unforgiving about an uneven base. A purpose-made terrarium cabinet or a stand rated for the loaded weight is the right support, not a shelf.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
