Exo-terra Terrarium Thermometer is an ultra flat, wide range horizontal thermometer that is easy to read and install. It can be placed inside or outside the terrarium and should be installed horizontally for a more accurate measurement.

For single thermometer placement, choose a central location in the terrarium. Do not place the thermometer in the coolest or warmest area. For dual thermometer placement, position one thermometer in the warmest spot and one at the coolest spot of the terrarium. Keep away from direct light/heat from incandescent bulbs. Install the thermometer horizontally for a more accurate measurement (temperature varies at different levels in the terrarium). Can be placed inside or outside the terrarium.
Installation:
1. Remove paper backing.
2. Ensure surface is clean and dry.
3. Press thermometer firmly onto surface.

Reptiles are ectotherm, and use heat from an external source to thermoregulate their optimal body temperature. Setup & Use
- Remove the paper backing, wipe the surface clean and dry, then press the thermometer on firmly.
- With one thermometer, put it in a central spot. Do not use the warmest or coolest corner.
- With two, put one in the warmest spot and one in the coolest.
- Mount it horizontally for a more accurate reading, because temperature changes with height in the terrarium.
- Keep it out of direct light and heat from incandescent bulbs. It can go inside or outside the terrarium.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
