Compatibility

What it is. The Fluval Elite Mini Underwater Filter, sold under part number A130 — a separate, smaller product line from both the U-series and C-series filters elsewhere in Fluval’s range, built for the smallest tanks and bowls: up to 11 litres / 3 US Gal.

What’s built in. Per Fluval’s own (Hagen-branded) listing for this part, the Elite Mini ships with a venturi valve for added aeration when wanted, plus an adjustable output diverter and flow control that let you redirect the outflow and regulate its strength independently — features the current description doesn’t mention.

Note on the electrical rating. That same listing states 3.3 W at 120 V, UL/CSA listed — the North American market’s rating. The unit sold here on an Indian 230 V supply is not necessarily identical on that spec; check the rating label on the box itself rather than assuming the US figure carries over.

Setup & Use

What the foam insert does. The filter comes with a single foam filter insert that handles both mechanical filtration (trapping debris) and biological filtration (surface area for beneficial bacteria) in one piece — there are no separate media stages to manage the way there are on the U- or C-series.

Fluval doesn’t publish a flow-rate figure for this model that this project could independently confirm across two countries’ worth of sources — not used rather than guessed.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
