Fluval Impeller Brush Set: 10680

As part of Fluval’s complete line of cleaning accessories, the Impeller Brush Set is ideal for keeping your filter motor working at peak performance.

Specifications

What it is. A two-brush cleaning set for filter motors — part of Fluval’s cleaning accessories line, item 10680.

Pack. Two brushes, both 3½ in / 8.5 cm long: one at ½ in / 1.25 cm diameter, one at ¼ in / 0.6 cm diameter — sized for the impeller well and the narrower intake stem respectively.

Setup & Use

Use the brushes to clear slime build-up from impeller blades, the magnet and the impeller well casing during routine filter servicing — the narrower brush also works for scrubbing algae out of a filter’s intake stem.
