What it is. The rim connector is the bracket that hooks over the back edge of the aquarium glass and anchors the intake and output hosing in place — Fluval’s own FX manual lists it as “Rim connector (1) & Clips (3),” item A20230, shared across the FX2, FX4 and FX6.

Where it goes. Two are used per filter — one for the intake side, one for the output — each fastened to its hosing with three rim-connector clips, with suction cups anchoring it against the glass.

Setup & Use

Fluval’s installation steps have you place the two rim connectors over the back top edge of the tank before running the intake and output hosing, then fasten each hose to its connector with the three included clips. Fluval’s own manual notes it’s worth keeping an extra rim connector on hand, since first-time setups often need one more than expected when routing both lines.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
