Feeding

Feed two to three times daily the amount your fish will completely consume in a few minutes. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding and always remove uneaten food after feeding period to avoid health impacting water quality issues.

Ingredients: Fish meal, flaked corn, wheat flour, brewers dried yeast, corn gluten meal, fish oil, wheat starch, rice bran, astaxanthin, extracted marigold flower meal, garlic, DL-methionine, dried Bacillus subtilis fermentation product, red chili pepper, phaffia dried yeast, krill meal, L-lysine, canthaxanthin, choline chloride, vitamin E supplement, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (stabilized vitamin C), inositol, d-calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, vitamin A supplement, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, niacin, folic acid, vitamin D3 supplement, biotin, vitamin B12 supplement, disodium phosphate, ferrous sulfate, magnesium sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, calcium iodate.

Four separate colour ingredients — astaxanthin, marigold extract, canthaxanthin and phaffia yeast — plus red chili pepper. That is what the diet is for. Phosphorus is 1.3%, the highest in the cichlid range, so it is worth watching phosphate if you feed it heavily in a planted or reef-adjacent system.

Pack Size

11.7 oz (333 g) tub of the medium pellet, Hikari #16333.

Buy the size you will use within about six months and keep the tub sealed, dry and out of sunlight. The fats in a prepared fish food oxidise once the pack is opened, and a stale tub is poorer value than a small fresh one whatever it cost per gram.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
