The Jecod DEP 15000 is a DC-driven circulation pump from the Jecod DEP Vario series, part of the Aquarium Submersible Pump range at IndieFur.

This circulation pump has a robust design and an inventive suction funnel at the bottom. The unique suction mechanism sucks water from the bottom, allowing a lower water level in the filter pit and reducing the chance of air suction from the surface.

What’s in the Box

DEP 15000 pump with its bottom suction funnel, the external DC driver, and an LCD controller with its cable. Hose fittings and mounting feet are included; the controller pairs to the app over Bluetooth.

Because it runs on 24 V DC through an external driver, the driver is part of the pump — keep it with the unit, and note that a replacement driver is a specific part rather than a generic supply.

Setup & Use

Runs submerged or dry, which is the flexibility to plan around. Submerged, the bottom suction funnel is the point of the design: it draws from the base of the sump chamber, so the pump keeps working at a lower water level and pulls far less air off the surface.

Dry, mount it below the water line so it stays primed, and keep the suction run short and straight.

Set the flow from the LCD controller or the app rather than throttling the outlet — that is the whole advantage of a DC pump, and running it at 70% is quieter, cooler and cheaper than running it flat out into a restriction. Never restrict the intake.

Keep the driver and controller dry and above the water line. Strip and rinse the impeller and its ceramic shaft quarterly; the blocked-impeller detection will tell you something is wrong, but it will not clean it for you.

Warranty & Support

This product is covered by warranty as per the manufacturer policy, against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first — most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
