Korallen-Zucht’s Zeovit is a balanced, all-natural mix of three zeolite types, run through a dedicated Zeovit filter for premium water quality.

Zeovit is a balanced mix of different zeolites. It is an absolutely natural Zeolite mix of highest quality.

Run the Zeovit in a special Zeovit filter. Our mix consists of three different zeolites. These zeolites were chosen because of their ability to reduce certain toxins in a balanced manner. The functional life of the mix is limited and has to be exchanged every 6-12 weeks depending on the tanks nutrient load. The replacement of old zeolite material with new can be conducted in a single session. The useful life is directly related to the tanks nutrient level. The higher the load of organic compounds (phosphate - PO4 and nitrate - NO3), a shorter interval for material exchange is required.

Please note:

1. The Zeovit always has to be clean. To clean the material, push and pull the rod of the filter daily, which can be done simple, fast and easy within a minute.
2. If possible, the flow direction is from the bottom to the top, so that the material is always in the water.
3. The flow rate in the filter through the Zeovit is 400L/h per L Zeovit maximum!
4. Dosing of the Zeovit: take 1 L Zeovit for 400L water.
5. Exchange the Zeovit after 6-8 weeks.

If used together with Zeobak and Zeostart you can eliminate with the Zeovit Nitrate and Phosphate from your tank, and with some patience you will get very natural coral reef water after some time. your corals then will maintain their natural color and growth.

Setup & Use

Korallen-Zucht's own dose. 1 litre of ZEOvit per 400 litres of tank water, with a flow of 200 to a maximum of 400 L/h through each litre of media. Exchange the media completely every 6 to 8 weeks — sooner if the tank's nutrient load is high.

How and where it goes in. In a filter you can get the material out of, so it can be cleaned. KZ ask for the media to be agitated; the mulm it releases carries bacteria and is taken up by the corals as food, which KZ describe as having a very positive effect on colour, polyp expansion and vitality. Take care not to wash any zeolite out with the mulm.

Start below the figure, not at it. KZ's own instruction for a first-time user, a lightly stocked tank, or a tank with little growth: reduce the dosage recommendation and adjust upward. Their words — do not act on the principle that the more the merrier.

Calculate on gross volume. KZ ask you to use the gross water amount for dosing arithmetic, not a net figure with rock and sand deducted.

Not any zeolite will do. KZ are blunt about this: there are hundreds of different materials sold under that name, and using one with the wrong properties can have detrimental effects on the tank and lead to the loss of all animals. ZEOvit is a specific balanced mix of three zeolites.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Filter media and substrates carry no manufacturing or expiry date — their working life begins on first contact with water, not on the shelf.

Backorder & Dispatch Timeline

This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.

Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
