Compatibility
What it is. A refill kit covering all three of the AquaClear 70’s filter media stages in one pack — Bio-Foam, Carbon and BIOMAX — sized to the AC70’s own media basket rather than a universal fit, for aquariums up to 70 US Gal / 265 L.
Where this sits in the Fluval range. Fluval sells this kit per filter size (the AC20 and AC30 each get their own, listed separately), because the media basket — and so the media pieces that fit it — is a different size on every AquaClear model; a kit sized for one model won’t seat correctly in another.
Setup & Use
Loading order. Fluval’s own quick-start instructions: rinse the Bio-Foam and place it in the bottom of the media basket first, then rinse the Carbon and place it in the basket’s top-rear section (respecting the basket’s “MAX FILL” line), then rinse the BIOMAX and place it in the top-front section marked “BIOMAX FRONT”. Water then travels up through all three, in that order, before returning to the tank.
Replacement cadence. Bio-Foam and BIOMAX are rinsed at each monthly clean and only fully replaced occasionally; Carbon is the one media that’s a straightforward consumable — it exhausts with use and needs replacing on its own separate cycle, which is what this kit exists to cover without buying three separate products.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
