Red Sea ReefMat 500 Replacement Roll

Efficient, high-flow 50 g/m² filter roll made from non-woven, polyester fleece. Replacement roll for the ReefMat 500 Auto Filter Roller.

Although specific lifespan will vary according to system parameters such as volume, bio-load, feeding schedule, and initial water quality; each 28m roll of filter fleece is expected to last 5-8 weeks on a moderately stocked 80 gallon reef system. Bare-bottom tanks will typically exhaust rolls at a faster rate. Additionally, usage rate may be significantly higher for the first few weeks after installing a ReefMat while your system adjusts to the new level of mechanical filtration.

Compatibility

This roll fits the ReefMat 500 only.

Red Sea’s three ReefMat sizes take three different mats, and the width is what decides fit:

• ReefMat 250 — 8 cm wide, 32 m long
• ReefMat 500 — 11.3 cm / 4.4″ wide, 28 m / 92 ft long (this roll)
• ReefMat 1200 — 17 cm wide, 35 m long

A ReefMat 500 roll will not run in a 250 or a 1200, and the drive unit will report a fault rather than feed a mat of the wrong width.

The fleece is 50 g/m² non-woven polyester. Red Sea state that the ReefMat is suitable for seawater aquariums only.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
