Red Sea Salt is intended for fish and invertebrate systems, mature reef tanks, and low-nutrient systems where you already dose individual elements on a regular basis. If you are running an SPS-dominant display or a frag system that needs elevated foundation elements for accelerated growth, Red Sea Coral Pro Salt is the intended alternative.

Mixing & Maintenance

Mix with RO or RO/DI water only — the published parameters assume pure water. Add salt to water, never water to salt, with a powerhead circulating, and let the mix run until the salt is fully dissolved and the temperature has stabilised before you test salinity. Dose to your target system: 38.2 g/l for SPS-dominant at 35 ppt, 36.0 g/l for ultra-low-nutrient SPS at 33 ppt, and 32.8 g/l for marine fish at 30 ppt.

Pack Size

22 kg bucket. At the 32.8 g/l marine fish rate this mixes approximately 670 litres of saltwater; at the 38.2 g/l SPS-dominant rate, approximately 575 litres.

Storage

Reseal the bucket immediately after each use and store it off the floor in a dry place. Marine salt is hygroscopic and will clump if it is left open in humid conditions. Clumping affects how accurately you can weigh out a dose rather than the chemistry of the salt itself, but it makes consistent mixing much harder.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, write to us and we will replace it — approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
