Salifert Marine Reef Test Kits – Strontium

Use this Test Kits – Strontium to test your strontium levels in your aquarium, which may be depleted by the corals living inside your tan, and may need to be topped up to achieve a healthy water chemistry for your fish and corals.

Specifications

What it is. Salifert’s Strontium Profi-Test: by Salifert’s own account, the first strontium test kit brought to the reef hobby. It detects both ionically free and moderately complexed strontium, not just the free ion.

Salifert’s own numbers. Approximately 25 tests per kit, read in increments of about 5 ppm.

Compatibility

Marine reef aquariums. Strontium supports coral and calcareous-algae growth in step with calcium: as calcium depletes, strontium typically depletes alongside it. Salifert recommend keeping strontium between 5 and 20 mg/L.

Why infrequent testing is enough. Salifert’s own guidance: strontium measurement is a genuinely difficult test that many hobbyists won’t run often, so their additive is built so under- or over-dosing is hard to do in the first place. Used together with Salifert’s Coral Calcium as directed, the need for strontium testing drops to roughly once every few months rather than routine testing.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
