Seachem Liquid Marine Buffer will safely raise marine pH to 8.3 while adjusting alkalinity. It will not raise pH above 8.3 even if inadvertently overdosed. Liquid Marine Buffer® contains a balanced blend of bicarbonate, carbonate and borate salts designed to raise pH and restore disrupted buffer systems to the proper balance.

Liquid Marine Buffer™ shares the same blend as Marine Buffer™ powder; thus, it confers the same benefits. It is a blended buffer that drives and holds your pH at 8.3 because of the blend. The pK of Liquid Marine Buffer™ is actually slightly higher than 8.3 in order to combat the influx of bicarbonate at every water change.

Compatibility

Marine, and safe in reef tanks. It raises and holds pH at 8.3 and will not push past it even if overdosed, because the borate component caps it there.

Dose 5 mL for every 20 L (5 US gallons) daily until pH settles at 8.3 — anything from a day to a week depending on where the tank starts. Its slightly higher pK offsets the bicarbonate that builds up through water changes; for a heavily stocked reef, Reef Buffer neutralises acid more strongly.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
