Compatibility

The Syncra ADV is the next generation of the Syncra Silent range, and it runs wet or dry in the same way — submerged or external — in freshwater and marine systems.

This is the ADV 10.0: 10,000 l/h at 90 W with a 700 cm maximum head. That head figure is what sets it apart; it is a pump for a tall return, a long run or a demanding closed loop rather than for a display tank.

The range is ADV 5.5 (5,500 l/h, 40 W, 350 cm), 7.0 (7,000, 55 W, 500 cm), 9.0 (9,500, 90 W, 450 cm) and 10.0. Note that 9.0 and 10.0 draw the same 90 W — the 10.0 simply does more with it.

It has a 360° rotatable pre-chamber and a front grid that lets you take suction from the bottom or the top and regulate the flow. Ceramic shaft, self-cleaning impeller, thermal protection. Made in Italy.

Safety & Precautions

Unplug it at the mains before putting your hands in the tank or taking the unit apart. Water and a live mains connection are the one combination in this hobby that can actually kill you.

Leave a drip loop in the cable — a downward bend below the socket — so water running down the flex drips off the bottom of the loop instead of into the socket.

Never run it dry. The water it moves is what cools and lubricates it, and a pump left running in air destroys its own impeller in minutes.

The impeller is the only part that runs 24 hours a day, so it is a wear item rather than a fault. A pump that has become noisy or lost flow almost always wants its impeller and its chamber cleaned before it wants replacing — and lime scale, not wear, is usually what is holding it.

Thermal protection will shut the motor down if it overheats. If it trips, find the cause — a blocked inlet, a closed valve, a dry chamber — rather than simply restarting it.

At 90 W and 10,000 l/h this is a serious pump. Make sure the plumbing it feeds is rated for the pressure and properly clamped before you switch it on for the first time, and switch it on with someone watching the joints.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.

Warranty & Support

Sicce warrant this pump for 3 years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, extended to 5 years if you register the product with Sicce.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first — most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.
