Compatibility

Sicce's sizing for the Scuba range puts the 200 W at 150–230 litres / 40–60 US gallons. The range runs 50 W (40–60 L), 100 W (80–130 L), 150 W (120–180 L), 200 W, 250 W (200–280 L) and 300 W (250–350 L).

Freshwater or marine, and fully submersible to a maximum depth of 1 metre. There is a minimum level marked on the glass and the heater has to stay below it.

At 17 mm diameter it is the slimmest heater Sicce make, which is the reason to choose it: in a planted or aquascaped tank it hides where a fatter heater cannot. The scale adjusts in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Two suction cups are supplied. A room that gets genuinely cold at night, or a tank in an unheated space, may want the next size up rather than this one working flat out.

Safety & Precautions

Unplug it at the mains before putting your hands in the tank or taking the unit apart. Water and a live mains connection are the one combination in this hobby that can actually kill you.

Leave a drip loop in the cable — a downward bend below the socket — so water running down the flex drips off the bottom of the loop instead of into the socket.

Let it cool before you lift it out of the water. Glass at working temperature can crack when it meets cold air or a cold hand, and that is how most heater breakages happen — during a water change, not in use.

Never run it out of water, and switch it off before draining the tank below the minimum level marked on the glass. The thermo-safe control shuts it off when it is out of the water, but treat that as a backstop rather than a working method.

The anti-scald plastic guard is there so fish cannot rest against the hot glass. Do not run it without the guard.

Do not exceed 1 m submersion depth. Check the temperature with an independent thermometer rather than trusting the dial alone — that goes for any heater.

Warranty & Support

Sicce guarantee this product against defects of materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase, extended to 5 years if you register it with Sicce and upload the purchase receipt.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first — most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
