The transformer is universal — Sicce’s manual says it works with all voltages and frequencies, so 230 V / 50 Hz Indian mains is fine with no adaptor beyond the plug itself.

The controller is included, not an add-on. It has a water temperature sensor, five preset modes, an ECO setting that holds a reduced flow for 7 hours and repeats every 24, and a PAUSE that drops the flow for 10 minutes on demand. Sicce note that the supplied controller for the 6.0, 7.0 and 9.0 replicates everything the ContrALL app does except the CUSTOM function.

What Sicce do not publish for this model:

• Port thread sizes (Sicce supply the hose fittings but do not print their thread size for the SDC models)

Those rows are not on Sicce’s specification table or in the instruction manual for this pump, so we have left them blank rather than fill them in from a similar model. If one of them decides your purchase, ask us before ordering and we will put the question to Sicce.

Compatibility

This is a Wet & Dry pump: it runs fully submerged or inline out of the water. Sicce’s one hard rule is that the impeller must always be running wet.

It is not self-priming. Do not mount it above the water level. Sicce are explicit that damage caused by the pump running dry is excluded from warranty, and that the risk of an invisible air pocket creating a vacuum is high in that arrangement.

For inline use Sicce ask for: a spot with proper ventilation and away from heat sources; short pipe runs, since long ones cost you output; a straight inlet without elbows; inlet and outlet pipe at least as wide as the supplied threaded fitting; and never a fully closed outlet — some flow has to pass to keep the motor cool.

App control. ContrALL is a free download for Android and iOS. It needs your home Wi-Fi and the pump paired to it during setup. Once the pump is managed through ContrALL, the physical controller can no longer change its operation, and after a power cut the controller reconnects and reloads whatever the app had set. The controller keeps working if Wi-Fi drops, so the pump does not stop when the internet does.

Multiple pumps. ContrALL will synchronise and individually customise several SDC devices — Syncra SDC and XStream SDC together. Each pump needs its own controller; the supplied one drives only the pump it came with, and Sicce warn that using it on anything else can destroy the device and voids the warranty.

Third-party controllers: Sicce sell a GHL Ready cable (SKT0324/OL) for the SDC 6.0, 7.0 and 9.0 if you want to drive the pump from a GHL system instead.

Three protections are built into the pump’s board: rotor-blockage protection, which makes ten restart attempts and then stops and waits for you to unplug it for about 30 seconds; dry-running protection, which stops the motor the moment it is out of water; and thermal protection. With the alert system switched on in ContrALL, all three send a notification to your phone.

Warranty & Support

Sicce warrant this pump for 3 years from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship, extended to 5 years if you register the product with Sicce.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first. Most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
