The wave maker is not an ideal choice for a tank above 4 feet long as the flow is very wide and the flow gets desipated with the first 2 to 3 feet itself. The magnet is not good for glass more than 15 mm thick. The wave maker is really small wen compared to a voyager hp series

A very small pump with a wide flow. Size comparison is shown with a voyager next to it. Not a good choice for large aquariums as the wide flow will not penetrate to the end. And the controller is very cheep and almost useless in a large aquariums. Have presently placed it on constant flow mode at Max flow and the flow does not reach the end of the my 8 feet tank . Highly recommended for tanks upto 4 feet long
