Compatibility

What it is. Whole dried gammarus (freshwater shrimp), kept in its natural form rather than ground or reconstituted: Tetra’s own description is a drying process built to preserve the shrimp’s natural shape, quality and taste.

Where this sits in the Tetra range. A supplementary treat, not a complete diet on its own. Tetra’s own pairing recommendation is to feed it alongside ReptoMin Sticks for best nutrition, and to use Tetra ReptoClean for water quality in the aquaterrarium alongside whole-animal treats like this one.

Why turtles get it. Tetra credits the gammarus itself with two things: calcium, for healthy shell and bone development, and fibre, to support digestion, both of which a stick-only diet under-delivers.

Tetra does not publish a numeric analytical constituents table (protein/fat/fibre/moisture) for this specific product on their own site. If that figure matters for a particular animal’s diet plan, ask us and we will chase it with Tetra directly rather than estimate it.
