using it for 2 weeks now on a 10 gallon tank. Decent enough basket for filter media. I am not using the supplied carbon pack . Added purugen and filter wool layers. With that the filter started overflowing through the sides on inlet pipe. So to stop it f4om overflowing have turned the speed down to about half. Very quite operation though. You can hardly hear it.
I ordered the Aquaclear filter and am very happy with the product which had very good reviews online. I highly recommend the filter and I also appreciate the care taken by Indiefur with the packaging because of which the filter was delivered in the best condition.
Been couple of months since i bought this filter after much research. Mine is a 29 liter aquarium and so this was fine. Filter does what it's suppose to do. But we can buy more of bio materials as there is more space for that. I am bit doubtful about how effective the active carbon is ( not just this but generally). Go ahead buy this product if the size of your aquarium is less.
Product was delivered in good packaging. Filter works great with zero noise. Filter media can be easily changed and maintenance is easy.
