Blue Treasure Reef Sand / Coral Sand is taken from the pollution free island in the south sea of China. No Phosphate, Nitrate and surface contaminants.

Blue Treasure Reef sand is natural porous. It is suited to be as bottom sand filter in aquarium tank owing to its big surface area. It can simulate river bed and sea beach in addition it can grow beneficial bacteria as well.

The main content of the coral sand is calcium carbonate, which can be conducive to the stability of ph value in seawater.

Calcium carbonate is what makes coral sand more than decoration: it supports pH stability in sea water rather than sitting inert the way silica sand does.

Setup & Use

Rinse in RO or tank water before it goes in — unlike a live sand, this is a dry natural product and it carries dust that will cloud the tank for days if it goes in unrinsed.

Spread it evenly, then fill onto a plate or bowl so the bed is not blown apart. At 5 kg per bag, work on roughly one bag per 30 x 30 cm of footprint for a 25 mm bed, and buy the whole quantity in one go — natural sand varies in shade between batches.

Being porous it works as biological media as well as substrate, so leave it alone once it has settled. Deep cleaning a mature bed destroys the bacterial colony living in it.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months’ remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Filter media and substrates carry no manufacturing or expiry date — their working life begins on first contact with water, not on the shelf.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
