Thoughtfully constructed, the Catit Cabrio Cat Carrier was specifically engineered for cats and designed to keep them safe, comfortable and most importantly, secure while travelling. The conventional seatbelt ensures your pet’s safety in any moving vehicle and external access to the removable diner reduces the risk of your pet escaping. The skid-resistant textured floor will help prevent sliding during transport and keep your furry friend relaxed and in one spot. When hand-carried the integrated molded handle will help to reduce pet motion sickness and the added shoulder strap provides extra carrying comfort for the owner. Features also include complete ventilation and visibility and conversion to cat home/cat bed. Catit publish a maximum cat height of 13.75 inches (35 cm), measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the front paws, and a maximum cat weight of 25 lb (11.3 kg). Whatever the numbers say, your cat has to be able to stand up inside it. The cat pet carrier dimensions are 20 L x 13 W x 13.75 H inches (51 L x 33 W x 35 H cm). Setup & Use

Catit’s published specification for the Cabrio carrier (Cherry Red):

Check your cat against Catit’s limits before you order. Catit publish a maximum cat height of 35 cm (13.75 in), measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the front paws, and a maximum weight of 11.3 kg (25 lb). The carrier itself is 51 × 33 × 35 cm. Whatever the numbers say, the cat has to be able to stand up inside it.

It opens on every side. Catit’s stated design is 360° access with a single-hand locking mechanism: front door, top and bottom all come open. That is the feature that matters at the vet: a cat that will not walk out of a front door can be lifted out through the top without being dragged.

Ventilation front, top and bottom. Airflow through a carrier is not a comfort feature in an Indian summer; it is the whole thing.

Slide-out bowls, a skid-resistant floor with a gutter, and a carrying strap. Catit include the strap. The gutter in the base is there so an accident on a long journey does not end up under the cat.

The front door takes a padlock, which Catit do not supply. There is an integrated loop for one. There is also an integrated handle for stabilising the carrier while you walk with it, and the whole thing can be belted into a car seat.

Airlines and railways set their own rules, and Catit say so. Their guidance is to check the specific requirements with your carrier or transport operator before you travel. A carrier that is fine in a car is not automatically fine in an aircraft cabin.

Leave it open at home in the weeks before a trip. Catit do not say this and it is our advice, not theirs: a carrier that only appears on vet days becomes a thing to hide from. One that lives open in the hall with a blanket in it is furniture.

No padlock. Catit state explicitly that the padlock for the front door’s integrated loop is not included. Catit list the Cabrio in three colours: cherry red #41370, turquoise #41371 and blue-grey #41372.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
