This handy feeding portal will install directly onto the mesh of your Jumpguard, or other brand of mesh cover, providing a convenient place to feed your fish and corals. This simple accessory can be fitted anywhere on the mesh and removes the need to lift the edge of your cover at feeding time.
Setup & Use
What it solves. A mesh cover works only while it is on. Lifting the edge twice a day to feed is how covers end up propped open, and an open cover is how wrasse and gobies end up on the floor. The portal gives you a permanent 50 mm hole with a lid on it.
Where to put it. Anywhere on the mesh surface — the clip design does not need to be near an edge or a frame member. Choose the spot for feeding rather than for looks: over an area of good surface flow so food disperses, and somewhere you can reach without leaning across the light.
Fits other covers too. D-D build it for the JumpGuard but state it is a universal fit for most brands of mesh aquarium cover.
Keep the lid on. It is removable so that it can come off to feed and go back afterwards. A 50 mm hole left open is a 50 mm escape route.

The opening is 50 mm across and the profile is slim, so it does not stand proud of the cover or foul a light sitting above it.
D-D publish no further parts list for the portal and no separate fitting sheet — their JumpGuard manual does not cover it.
Backorder & Dispatch Timeline
This item is stocked to order. Back-orders are consolidated and placed with our overseas suppliers once a month, on the last day of the month, and all such orders are shipped before the 15th of the following month.
Back-orders cannot be cancelled once they have been placed with the supplier. If you cancel before that, payment-gateway charges of 2% plus GST are deducted and the balance refunded. In the rare case a supplier cannot fulfil the item, we will offer you an alternative first, and refund in full with no deduction if you would rather not take it.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
