Easy Life Bio Exit Silicate neutralizes silicates in the aquarium, helping control the algae growth that elevated silicate levels can trigger.

Description

Bio Exit Silicate from Easy Life neutralizes silicates in the aquarium. Silicates occur naturally in all water, they can also be released from the substrate. An increase in the silicate level in the aquarium can promote the growth of diatoms, which can form a brown coating on plants and soil. These diatoms are neither toxic nor harmful. The brown coating formed by the algae is usually not a pretty sight. Bio-Exit Silicate acts quickly and efficiently against silicates.

Application

10 ml per 20 litres on day 1 and on day 3. No water changes within 7 days after the first dose.

Compatibility

Freshwater aquariums. It neutralises silicate — the compound that comes in with tap water or leaches out of substrate and feeds the brown diatom film on glass, plants and sand.

Use it where the problem is genuinely diatoms. Green, filamentous or beard algae are a different problem and want AlgExit or Bio-Exit Green; blue-green is Blue Exit or Bio-Exit Blue.

Take activated carbon and any other adsorbing medium out of the filter before you start. Carbon strips the treatment out of the water as fast as you add it, which is the usual reason a course appears not to work.

The dose is 10 ml per 20 litres on day 1 and again on day 3, with no water changes for seven days after the first dose — so plan it for a week when the tank can be left alone.

Easy-Life publish an explicit invertebrate-safety statement for AlgExit, Blue Exit and the other Bio-Exit products but not for this one, so we are not repeating that claim here. If you keep sensitive shrimp, ask us before dosing and we will check with Easy-Life.

Freshness & Storage

Every batch we dispatch carries a minimum of 6 months' remaining shelf life. Store this product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, with the cap or inner foil closed tightly after each use.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
