Using an Ozone Generator:

Almost all O³ generators will require some type of air movement device, to suck the ozone out of the generator. It is not recommended to push into the generator due to possible leaks that could occur under the pressure. In most cases, the venturi from your skimmer pump is more than sufficient, but there are vacuum air pumps, like Alita,  that work very well and are much more reliable when it comes to air movement over time when compared to a skimmer. A lot of reefers will use ozone to slightly raise the ORP in their tank, where others will use it to maintain a specific ORP number.

Not included: the ORP probe. ENALY sell the OZAC-PLUS with the redox meter and controller built into it, but state on their own specification that the probe itself is “not included (please buy it separately)”. You will need one before the ORP control on this unit can do anything.

Safety Note We strongly recommend using ozone in conjunction with an ORP controller to ensure it is used safely. It is extremely important to use carbon on both the air and water output of the reactor or protein skimmer. Ozone is not healthy to breathe in large quantities so if you can smell it in your home at all please change the carbon.

The adaptor is the useful line for an Indian buyer.
100–240 V at 50–60 Hz covers 230 V/50 Hz
mains directly, so nothing about the supply here needs converting. The unit
itself runs on 12 V DC from that adaptor and draws 12 W, which is
less than most aquarium controllers.

Read the two ORP numbers together. The meter reads up to
450 mV; that is the top of its scale, not a target. ENALY's own
operating guidance is to hold an aquarium between
300 and 350 mV and never to exceed 400 mV. There
is more on why in the Setup & Use section below.

One line we are quoting rather than vouching for. ENALY
list the certification as “UL TUL CE”. UL and CE are clear
enough; TUL is not a mark we can identify, and is most likely a misprint of
TUV. We have asked.

Not published. The connector type the ORP probe needs,
and any table matching ozone output to tank volume — ENALY give a
maximum and an adjustment range and leave the setting to your ORP reading,
which is the right way round.

Setup & Use

ENALY publish five rules for running an aquarium ozone generator, and all
five are about what happens to the ozone before and after it reaches the
water. They are worth reading in full before the unit is switched on for the
first time.

1. The air going in must be dry and clean. Moisture and
impurities in the feed gas react with ozone and form byproducts you do not
want in a tank. That is what the AD200 air dryer in the box is for, and it
is not optional — it is the reason the dryer is supplied with the
generator rather than sold beside it. The media in it is consumable; when it
stops changing colour it has stopped working.

2. Never inject ozone straight into the aquarium. It
goes into a contact chamber — in most reef systems, the protein
skimmer — and every material it touches on the way has to be
ozone-resistant or inert. Ozone attacks ordinary silicone, rubber and many
plastics. Use the ozone-safe tubing supplied, and check what your skimmer's
venturi and body are made of before you connect anything.

3. Protect the livestock from what comes out the other
end. Free ozone and its oxidation products have to be removed
before the water returns to the display. ENALY's method is vigorous aeration
followed by filtration through activated carbon. Carbon on the water path is
not a nicety here; it is part of the installation.

4. Run it against an ORP reading, not a dial
setting. Hold the aquarium between 300 and
350 mV. Do not exceed 400 mV —
above that, ENALY warn that ozone starts producing hypochlorous and
hypobromous acids, which damage sensitive organisms. The controller in this
unit is what lets you set that ceiling and walk away, and it needs an ORP
probe, which is not in the box.

5. Keep ozonised air out of the room. Fit a carbon
filter wherever ozonised air can escape — the skimmer's air outlet or
the reactor's. If you can smell ozone in the room, the carbon is spent;
change it. This matters more in a closed Indian flat than it does in a
ventilated basement fish room.

On the air path itself. Ozone is drawn out of the
generator, not pushed into it — pressure on the inlet side risks leaks
at the joints. A skimmer pump's venturi does the job in most systems; a
dedicated vacuum air pump is the more reliable arrangement over time. The
ports are 6 mm, which is the size the supplied tubing fits.

Start low. The output adjusts from 10% to 100%. Begin at
the bottom of that range, let the ORP settle for a day, and raise it in
steps. Ozone works on a tank faster than most additives and the mistake that
costs livestock is starting at full output on a system whose baseline ORP
you have not measured yet.

This product is covered by warranty as per the manufacturer policy, against material and manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

Warranty support is handled by us directly. Message our WhatsApp support with your order number and we will diagnose the fault first — most cases are solved by replacing a single part, so you rarely need to send the whole unit. If the item does need to come back, it ships to our Delhi or Pune warehouse, whichever one served your order, and courier cost in both directions is borne by the customer. Your GST invoice is valid proof of purchase for the claim.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
