The 17 cm height is the defining number. This is the wide, shallow one: floor area rather than headroom, which is what suits ground dwellers, feeder colonies and quarantine.

Setup & Use

What it is for. Transporting terrarium animals or live foods, temporary housing, and quarantine. Exo Terra also list it for permanent care of small species: reptiles, amphibians, mice, arachnids and insects.

Stacking. The boxes are designed to stack, and the ventilation slits are angled into the sides specifically so that a stacked column still breathes. That is what makes them work as a quarantine rack or a feeder-insect shelf rather than just as carriers.

Access. The door in the lid is transparent and hinged, so you can look in on an animal without opening anything, worth using, because opening the lid is the stressful part for a newly arrived or quarantined animal.

Cleaning. The plastic is chosen to be cleaned and disinfected between occupants. For a quarantine box that is not optional: disinfect it every time it changes animals, or it stops doing the job it was bought for.

What’s in the Box

One faunarium: the moulded plastic base and the ventilated lid with its transparent hinged door.

Nothing else. Substrate, water dish, hide and heating are all separate. This is an empty box by design, which is what makes it useful for transport and quarantine.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
