One Exo Terra Tortoise Skeleton hide (PT2927), moulded as a single piece. There is nothing to assemble and nothing else in the box.

Exo Terra publish no dimensions for this hide and no itemised parts list. If the size matters for your setup, ask us and we will measure the one on the shelf rather than quote a figure that is not published.

Setup & Use

It is part of Exo Terra's Dinosaur World range, a fossil-look hide with multiple entrances so an animal is never cornered inside it.

• Hiding places are not decoration. Exo Terra's own position is that an animal which does not feel sufficiently invisible develops stress, which shows up as a changed activity pattern and a reduced appetite.
• Place it to give shade and to break the line of sight across the terrarium. A visual barrier does as much as the hide itself.
• It suits any terrarium type — desert, rainforest or aquatic — which is the point of the neutral fossil finish.
• To make it a humid microclimate: add moistened forest moss or sphagnum moss inside. Exo Terra note that this also turns the hide into an egg-laying site for a range of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
• That damp pocket supports thermoregulation and hydration and helps a reptile shed cleanly, which is why a humid hide is worth having even in a dry setup.
• Take it out and rinse it at cleaning time. Moss inside means organic matter inside, and it needs replacing rather than topping up.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number — or email us, if you would rather — and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
