Exo Terra’s Water Dishes have a very natural and realistic rock finish on the outside and a smooth non-pitted surface on the inside. The bowls are coated to prevent the development of harmful bacteria and make it easy to clean. The neutral natural colour allows easy integration in desert, tropical or any type of terrarium.
Smaller reptiles, amphibians and insects can easily escape out of the Water Dish by the ‘safety steps’ inside the bowl to prevent drowning.

Setup & Use
The safety steps are the point. The bowl has steps moulded into the inside so that crickets, small reptiles, amphibians and insects can climb out instead of drowning. A plain-sided dish in a terrarium with live food in it will collect dead crickets, and then it fouls the water.
Placement. The neutral rock colour is meant to disappear into any set-up: desert, tropical or otherwise. At 3.3 cm deep it is a drinking and soaking dish, not a pool. It is weighted to sit still: Exo Terra’s claim is that larger reptiles will not tip it, which is the usual failure with a light plastic bowl.
Exo Terra coat the resin so it does not develop harmful bacteria, and the surface is non-porous and non-pitted. It wipes clean and takes disinfectant without holding anything in the grain. That is the practical reason to use a moulded dish rather than a found rock.
Change the water and wipe the bowl out regularly regardless. The coating resists bacteria, it does not replace cleaning.
What’s in the Box
One water dish, 10 × 13 × 3.3 cm (4 × 5.2 × 1.3 in), moulded in one piece from food-grade resin with a rock finish outside and a smooth coated bowl inside.
Nothing else. It is a single moulded piece with no fittings to assemble or lose.
Returns & Replacement
Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.
If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
