What’s in the Box

One Exo Terra Water Dish Small (PT2801), 5.5 x 6.5 x 3 cm (2.2 x 2.6 x 1.2″). A single moulded piece. There is nothing to assemble and no other contents.

Exo Terra make the Water Dish in five sizes from X-Small to X-Large. This is the Small; check the dimensions above against your terrarium before ordering, because the size names run smaller than they sound.

Setup & Use

Made from food-grade resin, with a coated, non-porous and non-pitted inside surface. The coating is the functional part: it is what stops bacteria colonising the bowl and what makes it possible to actually clean and disinfect.

• The safety steps matter. There are moulded steps inside the bowl so crickets, small amphibians and juveniles can climb out instead of drowning. A dish without them is a drowning hazard in a terrarium with feeder insects.
• It is weighted and shaped not to tip, which is the other common failure: a larger reptile walking through a light dish and emptying it.
• Rinse and refill daily. A permanent supply of clean water is the point, and a bowl in a warm terrarium goes off quickly.
• Clean it properly rather than just rinsing: the non-porous surface means a wash actually removes the biofilm instead of pushing it into the material.
• The outside has a rock finish in Exo Terra’s neutral natural colour, so it reads as part of a desert or a tropical setup rather than as equipment.

Keep it away from the hottest part of the terrarium if you can. A dish sitting directly under a basking lamp evaporates fast and drives humidity where you may not want it.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
