ISTA do not publish a stated capacity for this box. Take the external dimensions as the guide, and note that it hangs outside the aquarium rather than inside — it takes up no swimming space, but it does need clearance behind the tank.

What’s in the Box

Separation box with its hanging bracket and lid. No pump or heater is included, and none is needed — the box exchanges water with the aquarium.

Setup & Use

Hang it on the rim where you can see it and where there is clearance behind the tank. Check the water level: the box has to sit low enough for water to exchange through the slots, or the fish inside are in a still, unheated container.

Uses it earns its place for: isolating a fish being bullied, growing on fry away from adults that would eat them, floating a new fish to acclimatise, and holding a sick fish where you can watch it. Because it shares the tank’s water, temperature and chemistry match automatically — which is exactly what a bucket does not do.

Two cautions. It is not a quarantine tank: a fish with something contagious is still sharing water with the display, so a genuinely sick fish needs a separate system. And do not leave a fish in it longer than necessary — it is a small volume, and waste concentrates in it faster than in the tank.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 72 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
