This product has some issues with waterproof, as when i placed this in my aquarium submerged in water, after two days it started showing me blurred image, when i went ahead to change the battery, there was full of water inside. I had to remove it from my aquarium. Other wise the result was almost accurate.
Works well submerged and gives very accurate readings. Compared with a second thermometer as well.
This is a great product for your aquarium if you want to monitor the temperature of the water. The most interesting part is that it is external.
