Specifications

What it is. A clip-on aquarium cooling fan (ISTA item I-100) with a built-in temperature sensor and adjustable set-point: it’s thermostatic, so it isn’t just an always-on fan.

Fit. Clamps onto glass up to 12mm thick.

Control. Fully automatic: the fan switches on once the water rises above your set point and stops once it drops back below it, with a two-way switch and adjustable air volume on top of that.

Cooling. ISTA’s own figure: lowers water temperature by roughly 2 to 4°C via evaporation, expect somewhat faster evaporation while it runs, same as any aquarium cooling fan. It’s a fan, not a chiller: for a tank with a heavy heat load (strong lighting, big pumps, a hot room), a compressor-based chiller is the right tool instead.

Returns & Replacement

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Manufacturer-sealed items cannot be returned once the seal is broken, and sale-priced items are not refundable.

If your item arrives defective or damaged, message us on WhatsApp with your order number, or email us if you would rather, and we will replace it. Approved replacements are delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Transit damage is covered by insurance on every shipment. If tracking shows delivered but nothing reached you, tell us within 48 hours, which is the reporting window Indian couriers allow. Damage caused during installation or use is not covered; replacement spares for such cases are chargeable.
